To provide feedback on a student’s assignments, you can follow the detailed steps below. This process allows you to evaluate the student’s work, leave comments, and decide whether the activity is complete or needs revision.
1. Open the activity
From your Dashboard, locate the activity you want to review and click on it to open it.
(See the explanatory image below.)
2. Select a student
Once the activity page opens, you will see a list of all students enrolled in that activity.
Find a student who has finished all tasks and click the “Review Activity” button next to their name.
(See the explanatory image below.)
3. Access the student’s tasks
After clicking Review Activity, a new screen will open showing all the tasks the student has completed within that activity.
Click on the last task in the list — this will take you to the Final Review section.
(See the explanatory image below.)
4. Provide your feedback in the Final Review section
In the Final Review area, you will have two options to choose from:
Mark as Completed – Select this option when the student has successfully completed all requirements of the activity. This confirms that the work meets the expected standards and closes the activity with your final feedback.
Additional Insight Needed – Select this option when the student needs to revise or improve part of their work before the activity can be marked as complete.
If you select Additional Insight Needed, click “Add additional comments” and type your feedback explaining what the student should adjust, correct, or enhance.
(See the explanatory image below.)
5. Save and send your feedback
Once you’ve written your comments, click “Save and Close” at the bottom of the screen.
Your feedback will be sent immediately to the student, and they will see your comments displayed in their activity view.
See the illustrative image below showing how the feedback appears to the student.
This process ensures your feedback is properly recorded and visible to the student, helping them understand what was done well and what needs improvement before finalizing their activity.
