To close or finalize a student’s activity, follow these steps carefully:
1. Open the activity
From your Dashboard, select the activity you want to finalize and click on it to open.
(See the explanatory image below.)
2. Select a student
When the activity page opens, you’ll see a list of students enrolled in that activity.
Choose a student who has completed all the tasks, then click the “Review Activity” button next to their name.
(See the explanatory image below.)
3. Access the student’s completed tasks
A new page will open showing all the tasks that the student has completed.
Click on the last task in the list — this will take you to the Final Review screen.
(See the explanatory image below.)
4. Finalize the activity
In the Final Review section, you will find two options:
Mark as Completed – used to close and finalize the activity when the student has successfully completed all requirements.
Additional Insight Needed – used to provide feedback if the student needs to revise or improve part of their work before completing the activity.
To finalize the activity, make sure “Mark as Completed” is selected.
Then, click “Final Feedback” to type your final comment for the student.
(See the explanatory image below.)
5. Save and close
Once your feedback is written, click the “Save and Close” button.
The activity will be finalized, and your comment will be sent to the student, confirming the completion of the activity.
(See the illustrative image below.)
This process ensures that each activity is properly closed, your final feedback is documented, and the student clearly understands that their work has been reviewed and approved.
